Saturday was still under Typhoon Warning Signal T1 for Hong Kong, but the tropical storm has so far produced very little rain and only light wind. Friday evening sunset in the Typhoon Shelter. Typhoon Signal T1 is raised for Tropical Cyclone Aere, although not expected to have heavy weather for Hong Kong. Thoughts and prayers are for family and friends along the Gulf and Southeast Coasts of the US as Hurricane Matthew strikes there. Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter, Hong Kong Island.

A very early morning thunderstorm caused the loss of electrical power aboard Watermark.  Waiting for it to be restored, we had breakfast and first cups of coffee of the day at the Aberdeen Boat Club.
